With the continuation of travel restrictions and quarantine measures for the foreseeable future, many of us are looking at how we can holiday at home this summer. Here at WELL, we are totally down with this – Hong Kong is a fantastic city. And what an amazing opportunity for us to be ‘home-town tourists’ for a change!
Here is our curated list of the best Hong Kong Staycations for Summer, 2020.
A Luxurious trip
Grand Hyatt Hong Kong
This is an oasis of luxury and calm, overlooking Victoria Harbour and with the lights of Hong Kong at arm’s reach. Perfect for the urban getaway with sophisticated indulgence. A range of staycation offers are currently available, including the Escape 24 weekend staycation. For those seeking the ultimate staycation experience, you cannot go past the Hyatt’s Top of the Suite package.
Four Seasons Hong Kong
With restaurants holding a combined eight Michelin stars and a zen-inducing spa all in-house, combined with Central on the doorstep, the Four Seasons Hong Kong is a fabulous luxury staycation venue. To review all current offers, see the hotel website. At WELL , we’re torn between the Summer Escapade -20% Off, the Wellness Retreat and the Summer Family Staycation.
St Regis Hong Kong
The St. Regis Hong Kong is a “curated mansion” in the heart of Wan Chai that blends architectural creativity, cultural diversity and timeless elegance. The East-meets-West aesthetic is key throughout. Of the various offers currently available, the 24-hour staycation and the Family Traditions Package are really rather tempting.

Choose between Racing Car, Carnival, Hong Kong Tram, Outer Space, Safari and more to kick start your family staycation.

(Lantau)
Situated on Lantau Island, Welcome Beach offers a caravan-based glamping experience on a 30,000sqm site that has direct access to Cheung Sha beach. There are a number of restaurants and water sports facilities within a short walk of the site. Accommodation offers can be viewed online.

There’s a range of activities and attractions to explore close-by. Camp Hyatt offers both indoor and outdoor on-site activities for children with a programme of activities for those aged 4 – 12 so that parents can indulge in some self-care in the Melo Spa or by the pool. WELL, recommends the Suite Staycation for a family break away from the bustle of the city.
